Job Summary

Direct daily activities of employees in the Maintenance Department. Supervise and administer all corrective actions for maintenance in accordance with corporate, state, and local agencies. Monitor tasks of employees during and after completion to verify they are performed in accordance with station policies and procedures. Assist planning in developing daily work schedules and outage schedules. Direct and provide guidance to Maintenance Supervisors in the proper execution of their responsibilities. Maintain the plant mechanical systems to assure safe and efficient operation of equipment. Maintain Mechanical Maintenance department budget. Participate in development of system design changes/projects and supervise the implementation of system design changes. Maintain oversight of craft training program planning and implementation. May be required to become a member of the Station Emergency Response Organization.

Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

Must meet one of the following: •Associate'sdegree plus 7 years related experience (Related experience can be experience in leadership, utility, electrical, or power generation.This should include 5 years of directly related experience in Nuclear Mechanical Maintenance).OR High school diploma/GED plus 9 years related experience,(Related experience canbe experience in leadership, utility, electrical, or power generation.Thisshould include 5 years of directly related experience in Nuclear Mechanical Maintenance). •Note:A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications. •Knowledge of mechanical maintenance work practices, fundamentals, and associated processes •Leadership experience is preferred Additional Requirements: •Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet deadlines; apply good business judgment; apply analytical abilities to diverse issues; understand and respond to customer needs •Ability to lead personnel to safely and efficiently execute work •Ability to organize resources to achieve station goals •Demonstrates high level of ownership for their responsibilities, persist through adversity, and follow through with commitments •Acts with bias for action to challenge and correct behaviors and promote high standards of performance •Demonstrates high integrity, safety, professionalism, and appropriate behavior driven results •Demonstrates and promotes a clear bias for action to resolve issues while exhibiting sound judgment and conservative decision making •Maintains appropriate oversight of his/her personnel and team members and acts promptly to provide direction when necessary Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3 and above, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined are strongly encouraged to apply.
