The Meadowview Farmers' Guild general store is currently seeking a general manager. Candidate must be creative and passionate about the mission and approach of the Meadowview Farmers' Guild and the Harvest Table Restaurant to help build a local and sustainable economy. The ideal candidate would have excellent people skills, be able to work independently yet work effectively as part of a team, and have a strong work ethic. Desirable talents include previous management experience, computer skills, facility with numbers for monitoring store sales, and ability to efficiently juggle tasks. The position is full-time. The salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
The main responsibilities of the general store manager include: helping with ongoing operations of both the store and the restaurant, help with promotion for both the restaurant and the general store, monitoring store inventory, and store personnel management.
