Boring Contractors is a highway and utility construction company in search of an experienced equipment operator. Typical types of equipment you may be required to operate include excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, wheel loaders, skid steers, and drum compactors.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
-Safely operating equipment around workers, utilities, and other equipment
-Inspection of Equipment to ensure all mechanical parts are in working order
-Check and maintain all fluid levels
-Safely maneuver equipment around a jobsite
-Load dump trucks with soil or construction materials
-Load and unload equipment on trailers
-Understand an utilize common hand signals to give or receive instructions from laborers, dump truck drivers, and other operators
-Readily identifying any equipment malfunctions that have occurred and notifying a foreman or superintendent
Requirements:
-Minimum of 3 years experience working as a heavy equipment operator
-Pass a pre-employment drug screen
