Overview

Credence Management Solutions, LLC, is currently seeking an experienced IT Manager for our internal IT department. The work will be performed out of Credence's Vienna, VA office. The candidate should possess at least 10 years of relevant experience.

The individual selected for this position will be responsible for managing computer communication networks at our company's corporate offices and will be responsible for overall IT operations at Credence satellite offices in DC, OH and GA. S/he will ensure our systems and networks are running smoothly and will be responsible for upgrade of network/system software/hardware to provide optimal and secure performance. Will be System Owner/Manager for all Credence internal systems and should have demonstrable hands on customer/project experience.

The individual selected for this position will be responsible for overseeing timely resolution of all support tickets, laptop imaging, repair and distribution, onboarding/offboarding tasks and asset management.

Responsibilities

The candidate will lead our IT team and will be responsible for the following:
  • Collaborate with Credence department leads and remote offices on End User experience, IT related facility needs, and future IT requirements
  • Lead install of computer networks such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), configure Internet access, Intranet access, and other data/communications systems.
  • Select software and hardware for Credence usage and coordinate timely ordering and invoicing.
  • Manage server hardware/software infrastructure and support administration of servers.
  • Monitor network usage, email and VPN security.
  • Ensure systems comply with industry standards and protocols.
  • Manage system back-ups and test backup procedures periodically.
  • Respond to compliance questions during internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with CMMC audit team and provide inputs.
  • Lead installation and maintenance of network services, equipment, and various network devices.
  • Provide leadership to help-desk technical support to users on Credence network on and off office premises.
  • Lead various projects within the team (equipping new offices, manage projects such as new solution deployments, always stay up to date to suggest ways to improve the processes and overall End User experience).
  • Support, advise and help the team members in all offices, keeping security in mind.
  • Support remote offices in security and functional set up (occasional travel).
  • Assist in the management of hosted applications (AWS, Azure, Office 365, ADP, CostPoint, iCIMS, Deltek).
  • Lead the evaluation and adoption of new systems, Cloud services, Storage/Backup, and Network for scalability.
  • Develop, review, install, maintain and enhance business applications as well as analyze user needs, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions to business needs.
  • Approve IT invoices, track expenses and lead budgeting.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen (Ability to get DoD clearance).
  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
  • At least 10 years of related experience in network engineering and systems support with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in Windows Operating Systems, (+ Linux desirable)
  • Experience in managing firewalls, routers, switches and other network components
  • Knowledge of email security/management, spam control, and virus protection
  • Experience in troubleshooting and help desk functions
  • Customer focused and demonstration of servant leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to build reports and present
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of IT engineers on and off site

Nice to haves:
  • Current US Federal Government or DoD clearance
  • Network+ OR Security+ OR any other IT certifications
  • Cloud experience with AWS OR Azure
  • PMP certification desired
