Overview

Credence Management Solutions, LLC, is currently seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to work with Credence IT staff to support Credence consultants in the field. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong understanding of Windows operating systems, routinely thinks outside the box to solve problems quickly and understands what impeccable customer service is all about. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for deploying and maintaining computer software and related systems and has knowledge of information technology and computer systems Active Directory/Office 365 user account creation and management, Patch management and resolve support tickets. S/he will ensure our systems are running smoothly and will upgrade software/hardware to provide optimal performance.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be a member of our IT team and will be responsible for the following:
  • Provide IT support to both onsite and offsite project staff to include hardware, purchasing and installing software and hardware, resolve accessibility issues
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of system configurations
  • Manage and maintain remote user management software, including groups, policies etc.
  • Manage and maintain email system and users and accounts in Active Directory and related security
  • Analyze and monitor systems and implement patches and fixes to address potential security holes.
  • Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.
  • Ensure systems comply with industry standards and protocols.
  • Install and maintain systems, services, equipment, and various devices.
  • Ensure that Internet security software and anti-virus is updated and running properly
  • Provide remote support, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, installing anti-virus software, and configuring systems and applications.
  • Write technical documentation for Knowledge Base to be shared internally.
  • Assist with internal and external auditing
  • Assist with trouble ticket resolutions tier 2 and higher where necessary
  • Ensure that systems, phone system, and networks are meeting 99% uptime

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience in systems support or computer administration
  • Strong understanding of Windows Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of information technology and computer systems
  • Networking and security fundamentals
  • The ability to respond to incidents quickly as they arise•
  • Highly proficient using Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Experience remotely managing endpoints and deploying software and policies via RMM agents such as Kaseya or Ninja
  • Understanding of various backup systems such as Veeam and Spanning
  • Deep understanding of the Microsoft 365 and Azure Ecosystem (Azure AD, M365 Licensing, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive, Conditional Access, PIM)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Management (InTune, Autopilot)
  • Knowledge of various security products (Email Firewalls, Anti-Malware, Cloud App Security, SIEM and/or SOAR, Defender for M365, Vulnerability scanning an remediation, Phishing Campaigns)
  • Solid understanding and ability to construct or modify scripts such as PowerShell as needed
  • Experience with formal audits or audit standards would be a huge plus, but is not required
Minimum Education:
  • Associate degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (equivalent experience will be considered)
