Conduct market research to identify collaborators.
Develop abstracts of inventions and other marketing materials to seek licensees and/or collaborators.
Negotiate licenses to patent properties and/or unique research resources to the private sector for internal uses or for development and commercialization of new products.
Collaborate and coordinate with government representatives, leadership and analysts as needed to ensure rapid, effective, and informative communications to facilitate tasking for development.
Research, analyze, and provide expert technical advice and assistance in the assessment and potential of innovation and products.
Research existing patents.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology transfer activities and addressing intellectual property issues relating to scientific discoveries and inventions.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
