Basic Purpose Looking for a knowledgeable and highly motivated individual to join the Host Application Access Management (HAAM) section within Navy Federal Credit Union. The HAAM team's primary focus is on mainframe and host based security. The team's premiere skill set is CA ACF2, including CPF, ACF2 for USS, ACF2 for CICS and ACF2 for DB2. They also support EKC's ETF/A and E-SCC products, HP Non-stop Tandem system and related applications, and other host based application security platforms.

The HAAM team is responsible for maintaining internal application security controls, CICS parameter files, ACF2 GSO and CPF records and other control mechanisms requiring subject matter expert (SME) knowledge. Additionally, HAAM team staff provides tier 3 technical support for projects and interacts with fellow ISD support teams for escalation of service requests requiring tier 3 support to diagnose and resolve complex issues. HAAM team members are responsible for compiling and reviewing data that will be consumed by Analysts and Management, identifying opportunities for new and/or improved processes, data, or technology and collaborating with all business units to ensure business needs are clearly defined, communicated and executed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal application security controls, CICS parameter files, ACF2 GSO and CPF records and other control mechanisms requiring subject matter expert (SME) knowledge• Design and maintain internally-used IAM mainframe tools (e.g., DBADS, ETF/A, various REXX Execs, EasyTrieve programs, some number of Cobol programs, SAS programs, SQL inquiries via SPUFI)• Support OSS in implementation of expanded mainframe architectural capabilities such as SysPlex, CICSplex, load balancing, LDAP implementations, etc.• Perform self-audits of mainframe controls, policies, and standards; plan and execute remediation/improvement actions • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, and establish processes and methodologies for preventative actions • Conduct benchmarking, trend analysis and other input to drive continuous improvement and elevate service performance • Analyze information, requirements, data, work quality, work methods, processes, service specific practices, standards and metrics/statistics to generate actionable recommendations• Work with various business units, project teams and vendors to address security concerns by identifying requirements, interviewing stakeholders, evaluating existing processes and alternatives, and presenting findings • Participate in Projects (PPM) related to Mainframe (includes awareness as well as execution of security related tasks) • Provide and maintain documentation and processes to facilitate performance of both internal HAAM responsibilities and mainframe-related actions performed or requested by others (e.g., IAA and NFCU business and technical staff)• Ensure compliance with Navy Federal Credit Union ISD standards and best practices • Provide On-Call support for mainframe related access issues• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications - All required unless otherwise noted

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience• Strong working knowledge of ACF2 or similar (RACF, Top Secret) mainframe security administration • Good knowledge of z/OS components and security calls• Experience in IT solution creation and delivery with increased business intelligence• Ability to work independently and in a team environment• Good working knowledge of documentation and presentation applications including PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and Word• Experience in working and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions• Effective organizational, planning and time management skills• Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills• Effective skill communicating with all levels within an organization • Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions• Effective skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines• Effective skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and concisely

Desired Skills

• Advanced knowledge of ACF2 structure and capabilities• Demonstrated security planning and leadership skills• Familiarity with Identity & Access Management (account provisioning, adding, modifying, and removing access) • Working knowledge of Navy Federal business processes and applications• Experience with audit and the security review process for ACF2• Programming • Familiarity with ITIL framework

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Due to COVID-19 and social distancing, this position will be temporarily working from home with plans to return to campus at the desired location listed once Navy Federal is back to normal operations. The specific logistics for returning to campus will be determined at a future date by individual leadership
