Basic Purpose To oversee portfolio delivery for System Support projects and initiatives run by a team of matrixed project managers. The mission of the organization is to Support, Measure and Govern System Support operations to improve efficiency, quality & adherence to processes. To compile, research, analyze and document data, requirements, workflow/ processes, functionality and or controls for respective ISD group. To develop and evaluate information, and prepare recommendations based on analysis for use in decision making. Serve as liaison and / or subject matter expert in respective business area. Provide leadership for strategic and compliance projects or programs.

Responsibilities

• Align and validate initiatives and work to Navy Federal, ISD, and IT Operations Strategies, Roadmaps and Priorities• Prepare and review Portfolio exceptions and project variances• Lead the occasional Special Project• Assess deliverable completeness and SDLC compliance of projects in the organization's portfolio• Ensure compliance with Navy Federal Credit Union SDLC, Agile, and DevSecOps Standards• Analyze information, requirements, data, work quality, work methods, processes, service specific practices, standards and metrics/statistics• Interpret results of analysis; present recommendations, including alternatives and implications • Collaborate with other business units to analyze and improve processing procedures and resolve problems• Analyze changes in policies, procedures and products; determine the impact on the group functions • Identify and analyze opportunities for new and/or improved processes, data, or technology; provide clear picture of possible outcomes • Ensure clear, concise and effective communication of material • Work with peers, business units and/or project teams, and vendors to ensure business needs are fully communicated, documented and satisfied • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, and establish processes and methodologies for preventative• Compile, review and prepare data to be used by analysts and management in the analysis of operations, services and products • Conduct benchmarking, trend analysis and other input to drive continuous improvement and elevate service performance • Analyze information to produce analytically-driven inferences and hypotheses to generate actionable recommendations• Solve business problems by defining the problem, interviewing stakeholders, identifying and evaluating alternatives, and presenting findings • Provide input into best practices for the respective area Assist in leading• Ensure compliance with Navy Federal Credit Union ISD standards and best practices• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science or other related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience• 3 - 5- year experience in a corporate IT environment • Proven working experience in technical documentation, operational support, and/or software development life cycle (SDLC) project phases. • Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal/written) and organizational skills. • Experience writing and delivering high quality presentations and briefings to management. • Agile, Scrum, or DevOps Certified• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent preferred• Advanced skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines• Extensive experience in IT solution creation and delivery with increased business intelligence• Expert research, analytical, and problem solving skills• Advanced organizational, planning and time management skills• Advanced skill communicating with all levels within an organization• Experience working and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects• Advanced skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and concisely• Effective relationship building, negotiation and facilitation skills• Experience in leading, guiding & mentoring others• Advanced skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions• Expert verbal and written communication skills• Advanced skill analyzing and organizing problems or work processes for technical solutions• Ability to work independently and in a team environment• Significant experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions• Business Analysis with a financial focus • Communications• Planning• Problem Resolution• Finance Transformation• Desired - Teamwork• Desired - Process Improvement• Desired - Relationship-Building• Desired - Requirements Gathering• Desired - Experience with Contracting Information Technology Finance & Accounting Systems• Desired - Knowledge of Navy Federal's services, products and functions• Desired - Experience working in an IT environment• Desired - Knowledge of Navy Federal business processes and applications

External Salary Range: $80,800 - $139,400

Due to COVID-19 and social distancing, this position will be temporarily working from home with plans to return to campus at the desired location listed once Navy Federal is back to normal operations. The specific logistics for returning to campus will be determined at a future date by individual leadership
