Basic Purpose The Organizational Change Manager will report into the Enterprise Strategy and Change team and be assigned to support one or more transformational initiatives associated with Navy Federal's Enterprise Strategy. He or she will design, develop and deploy organizational change management (OCM) strategies/solutions to drive adoption of the change. This includes facilitating activities such as identification, validation and planning around stakeholder needs/concerns, organizational change impacts, and mitigation of people-related risks associated with complex, large scale change, as well as delivering targeted change plans and tactics such as communications, training, coaching, business readiness, sponsorship support, resistance management and rewards/recognition. The Organizational Change Manager will collaborate closely with other Change Managers and project team members to coordinate plans and address dependencies across enterprise initiatives, projects or workstreams. He or she is a proactive self starter, effective in both team settings and as an individual contributor, and is flexible and adaptable to pivot to meet the evolving needs of the initiative.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver organizational change management (OCM) strategies/solutions for complex, large scale change initiatives • Serve as facilitator and active, visible Enterprise Change consultant, coach and collaborator with project leads and initiative sponsors, Senior Executives, management, and business unit stakeholders• Develop and lead actionable and targeted change plans - such as communications, training, sponsor roadmap, coaching, resistance management, rewards/recognition, or other plans and tactics• Serve as facilitator and active, visible Enterprise Change consultant, coach and collaborator with project leads and initiative sponsors, Senior Executives, management, and business unit stakeholders• Create graphics and PowerPoint master slides and presentations that convey models, concepts• and operational plans with a visual and professional/polished look• Work closely with project managers, team leaders, business SMEs and support partners to plan, manage, and communicate a change management program and roadmap for the length of each implementation• Align and integrate components of change management plans across project methods (e.g. waterfall, agile) and phases (e.g. planning, analysis, design, implementation and sustainment phases)• Build tools and processes that project teams can use to manage communications• related to their project in a consistent, effective way• Develop and lead processes to assess people-related risks, organizational alignment and stakeholder• needs/impacts of strategic programs and initiatives• Evaluate and measures effectiveness of internal communications, engagement, and training plans• Create and manage measurement systems using targets and key performance indicators to track• adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual and organization-wide changes. • Identify resistance and performance gaps to develop, recommend and implement corrective actions• Collaboration closely with other organizational change managers and project team members to coordinate plans and address dependencies across enterprise initiatives, projects or workstreams• Apply knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile• Facilitate meetings/groups of team members in the implementation of strategic activities and• Initiatives, frequently in a virtual environment• Compile, research, and analyze trends in support of projects and initiatives; provide results and• recommendations based on analysis

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field, or the• equivalent combination of education, training or experience• Significant hands on experience applying organizational change management methodologies, processes and tools across enterprise-wide transformations, project and projects including organizational impact assessments, stakeholder identification and alignment, communications planning and execution, and training needs assessment• Hands on experience working in large IT program implementations and implementing change in project management environment• Experience in managing projects from creation through execution and evaluation• Effective in exercising initiative, producing desired results and achieving objectives• Effective skill in translating information and developing insights• Effective in presenting findings and conclusions clearly and concisely to stakeholders and• management• Effective research, analytical and problem solving skills• Experience in working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors• Experience in leading, guiding, and mentoring others• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

• Master's Degree• Prosci, ACMP, or other change management certifications• Experience delivering change in agile operating environments• Previous experience with large scale, technology-related change• PMI or other project management certifications• Navy Federal functions, philosophy, operations and organizational objectives• Demonstrated thought leadership experience through applicable associations, authored

Navy Federal Credit Union assesses market data to establish salary ranges that enable us to remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range, based on your experience, location and market position.

The salary range for this position is: $130,500 - $184,400

Due to COVID-19 and social distancing, this position will be temporarily working from home with plans to return to campus at the desired location listed once Navy Federal is back to normal operations. The specific logistics for returning to campus will be determined at a future date by individual leadership
