Enterprise Content Manager

This position will interact closely with internal staff (to include vendor partners) and externally with our customer to effectively balance multiple content development work streams and develop detailed training project and learning content documentation to include: requirements, project plans, project schedules, risk mitigation plans, team status reports/communications, and work trackers. Acts as the larger team's Content Manager/Librarian ensuring strict version control of products and supporting data stored in SharePoint. Provides ready access to colleagues and clients to products and records stored in the Content database. Creates computer-based trainings utilizing Captivate. Acquires data from existing databases, compiles, analyzes, interprets trends or patterns and creates reports and presentations summarizing findings. Primary Responsibilities

  • Configuration Manager
    • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (to include naming and versioning standards)
    • Create workflows with decision points/branching o Version control of training artifacts (to include templates and supporting documentation)
    • Tracking the status and deployment of training artifacts
    • Maintain integrity of file/folder structure in SharePoint
  • Setting up new project folders
  • Populating correct versions into folders Create and maintain courseware database
  • Planning/scheduling
    • Maintaining Master schedule
  • Create executive level reports
  • Audit internal and government training repositories to ensure versioning accuracy
    • Create process for conducting audits
    • Conduct training/provide assistance to ensure others are adhering to rules
  • Create computer-based software training using Captivate
  • Acquire data from primary and secondary sources and maintain data systems
  • Filter data, compile, analyze and identify trends and patterns
  • Create reports summarizing findings
Basic Qualifications
  • BS degree and 4 years of prior relevant experience
  • US Citizen with ability to obtain ADP2/IT2 Public Trust. Federal Government requirement.
  • Experienced in the use of, and aware of the capabilities of, learning management systems and SCORM technology
  • Provide guidance on Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
  • Expert user/administrator of SharePoint and databases
  • Able to interface articulately with senior level customers/stakeholders
  • Able to clearly communicate both technical and non-technical information effectively to beginner, experienced, and expert users
  • Demonstrated skill in analysis and measuring the performance of a training program
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and provide direction to a team of employees
  • Communication skills must be superior to display enthusiasm with a calm and professional demeanor
  • Lead others to adhere to established industry best practices, standards, and quality
  • Skilled in writing concise, logical, and grammatically correct correspondence dealing with complex subject matter
  • Must be an advanced user of Microsoft Office suite of programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Adobe products
  • Possesses strong listening skills as well as presentation skills and should be comfortable conducting Q&A discussions with users, clients, and other stakeholders to collect application feedback and concerns
  • Ability to adjust and change focus and/or priority as well as the ability to successfully multi-task and set priorities as needed
