Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Junior Policy Analyst to p rovide Executive Administrative and Tasking support to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Student Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP). SEVP provides integrity to the U.S. immigration system by collecting, maintaining and analyzing information so only legitimate nonimmigrant students or exchange visitors gain entry into the United States.

Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Junior Policy Analyst to p rovide analytical support t o the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Student Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP). SEVP provides integrity to the U.S. immigration system by collecting, maintaining and analyzing information so only legitimate non-immigrant students or exchange visitors gain entry into the United States.

SEVP's core functions include: monitoring student and school compliance; administratively enforcing rules and regulations; certifying and re-certifying schools; developing program policy and regulation for SEVP-certified schools and students; and conducting outreach to ensure stakeholder compliance and understanding of federal rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • The Junior Policy Analyst will support the draft, review, and development of documents, including Federal regulations, training materials, public-facing and internal policy documents, manuals, general resources, and other working documents
  • Accurately format and review technical documents that meet high-quality standards and the necessary regulatory branding, and legal requirements applicable to DHS, ICE, SEVP
  • Provide support to assist SEVP Federal staff with technical, analytical, and program support for specific ICE HSI SEVP processes, planning, and operational activities
  • Provide insight and advice concerning strategic direction and applicability of up to date, industry standard solutions based on in-depth understanding of the latest developments and high-level vision to SEVP leadership and staff to influence objectives of complex efforts
  • Assist in the draft, review, and edit of progress reports and deliverables
  • Research, analyze, and compile data using mediums such as spreadsheets and other tools to support complex immigration-related projects, and brief SEVP Policy leadership and staff on findings
  • Analyze, research, develop, and maintain SEVP planning and policy documents and directives including regulations, rules, statutes, and official guidance
  • Review and provide comprehensive insight of published materials to determine relevancy to existing research and make recommendations as deemed appropriate
  • Assist in the drafting of briefing materials and PowerPoint presentation

Qualifications

  • Active ICE Suitability and/or Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one
  • BS/BA in Business Management, Public Policy, English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to create high-value deliverables
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to understand technology
  • Ability to translate complex, highly technical regulatory language into plain language content
  • Ability to create messaging for specific audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to manage, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Preferred
  • Experience working in the Homeland Security context
  • Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Knowledge of the U.S. immigration system
