Completes implementations, carries out integration activities, and provides operational support for technical environments.Responsibilities• Document problems and resolutions in organized technical detail including problem, cause, and solution • Execute service requests from service catalog• Operate and maintain high speed online printers for large scale computer operations • Perform test, configuration, environment and preventive maintenance activities • Research new technologies within existing infrastructure to optimize operational processes • Establish and test business recovery procedures, standards and policies• Identify, create, update and adhere to applicable standards and procedures • Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, escalate and/or resolve technical problems • Monitor, troubleshoot and analyze systems/applications• Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions• Serve on teams and task groups for projects/initiatives within the business unit &/or across the organization • Perform other duties as assignedQualifications• Ability to document and apply policies, standards and procedures• Experience in validating system availability and performance• Significant experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues• Advanced knowledge of enterprise systems, terminal knowledge and IT terminology• Advanced knowledge of technical inter-relationships between software/hardware and desktop/LAN/Host systems• Advanced knowledge of MVS and JES2 commands• Advanced skill supporting a global 24/7, member/customer focused services operation• Advanced verbal and written communication skills• Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills• Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions• Effective skill guiding and training less experienced staff• Effective skill in producing desired results and achieving goals and objectives• Desired - Associate's Degree in Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experienceHours: Long week: Mon- Tues, Fri, Sat, and Sun. (Wed/Thur are off).
