DescriptionThe Field Engineer is responsible for providing intermediate to expert level support at each client site to install, support, upgrade and maintain client’s hardware and software.If interested APPLY NOW! Or Send your most up to date resume to daryl.howell@rht.comDetailsDaily Tasks:Monitor ticket queue in Auto Task for escalated tickets from the service desk regarding issues that could not be fixed remotelySchedule service calls directly with end users and add to dispatch calendar in Auto TaskContact client/end user for ticket status update and confirm onsite availability of end user to troubleshoot issue and complete ticketAnswer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problemsProvide excellent customer service and attention to client needs, utilize all available resources to complete tasks with 100% satisfactionDrive from site to site to complete service calls within assigned market while adhering to the company vehicle policyUpdate tickets in real-time with troubleshooting notes, resolutions, and next stepsMeet or Exceed Service Level Agreement (Next Day Response) for all service callsTroubleshoot PC, Printer, and fax issuesRe-image PCs when operating system corruption is determinedTroubleshoot issues with networking equipment (switches, routers, data drops, wireless access points and other hardware)Work with vendors to resolve software and hardware issuesInteract positively and detail oriented with all clientsDeploy IT hardware such as computers, printers, servers, switches, routers, monitors, and other peripheralsPerform site surveys for wireless coverage, drop locations, building moves/expansions, and project preparationParticipate in network technology upgrade or expansion projects, including installation of hardware and software and integration testing.Participate in short and/or long-term projects assigned by Project Manager which may involve long duration's of overnight stay.Load and unload automobiles of equipment, PC’s and other hardwareAssist end user with issues that come up onsiteRequired Knowledge: Windows, Client Operating Systems, Windows Server Operating Systems, Cisco Wireless AP, General software installation and troubleshooting, PC Hardware, PC Peripherals, DMS setup and troubleshooting, Body Shop software, Parts hardware, VPN, Security Cameras, Alarm Systems, Mobile Device setup and troubleshooting, Cabling (creating, punching, tracing, new runs), T-1 cutovers, A/V Hook up, Profiles troubleshooting, Accounting software, Terminal services, Antivirus, CRM, Microsoft Office Software, General Office Productivity software, MAC, F & I Software, Physical and Electronic Fax setup and troubleshooting, Printer Setup and troubleshooting, Server room cleanups,If interested APPLY NOW!
