Job Brief

5-7 years’ experience in communications, corporate non-profit management, corporate community outreach and corporate project management is required.

Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group is looking for a Director of AB Cares to join our team!

Scope of the position: This position is responsible for understanding Atlantic Bay’s community outreach vision, have the ability to strategize and execute that vision that has been set forth by Executive management. The right candidate must be invested in community outreach initiatives and have an appreciation for nonprofit relations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage Roc Solid Foundation partnership

Large initiative oversight for planning and execution to include but not limited to:

Atlantic Bay Week of Service

Military Appreciation Month

Veterans Day

Senior Wish List

Blood Drives

Group Volunteering

Pints for a Purpose/Event in a Box

Roc Solid Foundation Relationship

Boys and Girls Club Relationship

Strategic planning for each month, quarter and year

Develop strategic partnerships with organizations in each of our markets

Working with Business Development to share strategic partnerships with organizations we have volunteered with

Working with marketing team to generate meaningful stories to drive readers to our website/company

Managing the Community Impact Committees day-to-day events

Idea generation for increasing Community Impact Committee reach and impact

Fundraising planning and coordination

Relationship building with community, industry professionals and non-profit organizations

Helping team members get plugged in with organizations meaningful to them

Large scale volunteer coordination

Developing opportunities for remote employees to get involved and coordinate volunteer opportunities

Strategic video and content planning for newsletters, social media, etc.

Assist mortgage bankers in their non-profit/community endeavors, i.e. Board Membership process, fundraiser planning, team building volunteer events

Strategic meetings with various stakeholders regarding AB Cares involvement and sharing timely and valuable information with necessary stakeholders, i.e. Marketing, BD, Mortgage Bankers, Remote Teams, etc.

Generating and monitoring metrics

Annual report development

Impact tracking:

Volunteer Hours

Number of Volunteers

Number of Repeat Volunteers

Number of Organizations Assisted – monetary donations, in-kind and volunteering.

Misc. Responsibilities:

Onboarding Presentations

Realtor Presentations

Event follow up and debriefing

Create, develop and maintain non-profit organization relationship database

Skills and Qualifications:

5-7 years’ experience in communications, corporate non-profit management, corporate community outreach and corporate project management. Additional skills required:

Attention to detail

Strong organization skills


Creative thinker

Knowledge of non-profit structure

Previous experience in non-profit relations

Ability to manage multiple projects at once

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Works primarily in office environment with the exception of attending sponsored events

Depending on sponsored event, may require occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling

Travel: Local travel required
