Responsibilities

Responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products. Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Provides direction for design activities. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites. The Systems Integrator will support the Customer’s by providing Group-level integration including cross-Group coordination, assisting in the identification and understanding of requirements and dependencies associated with the organization, its projects and other initiatives. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Support the Customer’s governance board (develop and coordinate agendas, presentations, capture minutes/actions; manage and track actions to completion.
  • Assist in day-to-day operations of the office—including managing accesses, tool requests, and execution of internal procedures.
  • Assist in the identification, development, decomposition and management of project requirements.
  • Identify/track action items; monitor ongoing projects and initiatives; coordinate associated schedules.
  • Assess, document and track program requirements; facilitate follow-on Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), as required.
  • Interact on a daily basis with Senior Leadership, providing strategic thought leadership; assist in driving organizational change.
  • Draft and coordinate detailed project schedules and weekly/monthly status reports, as required.
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses of proposed/alternate solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems; coordinate positions across stakeholders.
  • Provide inputs to create other program deliverables to include documentation, briefings, summary and budget reports.
  • Assist in preparation of management plans and reports
  • Design and/or modify comprehensive briefing packages with data and information that resonates with Senior Leadership
  • Prepare briefings, coordinate spearkers, draft content and create briefing books.
  • Conduct Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) and similar coordination meetings, as necessary, to resolve outstanding issues
  • Coordinate and de-conflict with other governance bodies to resolve any overlapping issues
  • Conduct outreach and coordination with stakeholders; act as liaison between stakeholders, Government and Contractor Management, and the team.
  • Participate in special projects, as requested, by the customer—including governenace strategic planning or governance board evaluation efforts
  • Position requires local travel between Customer facilities

Qualifications

Required Skills/Minimum Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience providing Front Office integration support
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently; self-starter
  • Experience developing briefings and presentation to Senior Leaders
  • Demonstrated senior-level interpersonal effectiveness, political savvy and communication skills to interact with all levels of the workforce—including developing and presenting program artifacts appropriately tailored to meet the needs of the audience
  • Demonstrated senior-level experience in stakeholder engagement and program governance.
  • Demonstrated experience organizing and managing projects in accordance with the Customer’s Program Management Framework (PMF).
  • Experience with process flows/mapping and analysis
  • Business process analysis and improvement experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with associate contractors
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.

Desired Skills

:
  • IT Project Management experience—working knowledge of networks, software development lifecycle, and data migration/management
  • PMP certification
