The Market Intelligence design team accelerates ideas into prototypes and delivers real-world solutions that empower our clients to make decisions with conviction. We are responsible for making powerful desktop and mobile applications easy to use for Capital IQ Pro customers.The Impact: The Senior User Experience Designer connects stakeholders, clients and developers by understanding their needs and finding the best solution. You will be releasing new product features on a regular cadence, and your work will have immediate impact on our customers and on the business itself.What’s in it for you: Our designers become experts on a wide range of topics from design practices and technology to financial markets and ESG. You will grow as a designer by delivering user flows, visual designs and UI patterns. You’ll direct user research and analysis, and work side-by-side with subject-matter experts in our product and commercial groups.Responsibilities:
Conceive and create solutions that fulfill strategic business objectives and help Capital IQ Pro desktop clients meet their goals.
Work with product and development teams as they integrate new capabilities and datasets into the product by leveraging our interaction standards and design systems.
Provide design elements like clickable prototypes and specifications and assist product teams in preparation for product releases.
Direct usability tests, heuristic reviews and present insightful findings to platform leadership.
Define and articulate the look and feel Capital IQ Pro through comps and/or prototypes in line with the direction provided by product leads, corporate brand team and Director of UX.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelors or master's degree in interactive design, design management or visual art
5+ years of experience in a creative role and proficiency using design tools like Figma and Sketch
A strong working knowledge of interaction design, user-centered experience design, brand development, digital marketing and the creative process
Basic understanding of front-end technologies like CSS and HTML and capabilities of different platforms and browsers.
A portfolio that represents a range of design styles and/or financial tech product design
Experience providing clear creative direction and promoting collaboration as a way to improve creative processes
Ability to mentor junior designers in order to grow abilities and retain talent.
This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States and or Europe.
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $72,300-$143,800. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
