Job Description
As a Federal Technology Architect 1 with Cerner Government Services you will evaluate existing and proposed systems and system enhancements to determine requirements and ensure client integration solutions meet organizational needs. You will design and develop solutions to integrate applications between Cerner and federal client systems. As well as, create and document visual representations of systems and their inputs and outputs. You will also partner with Cerner and client delivery teams to implement integration solutions within defined project scope. As a Technology Architect you will collaborate with engineering teams, development teams, client end users, and other stakeholders as appropriate. Finally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging system issues to increase integration performance and quality of data, all while, optimizing maintenance and deployments to ensure integrated functioning. Working Environment Hybrid or Remote This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #RemoteQualifications Basic Qualifications:- At least 4 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering
- Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
- Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
- Familiarity working in a DevOps or SRE organization
- Familiarity with shell scripting
- Familiarity with production systems running Linux and/or UNIX
- Familiarity with a public cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with monitoring platforms like Zabbix or New Relic
- Familiarity with a log aggregation and analysis platform like Splunk or Kibana
- Experience with an object-oriented dynamic programming language like Ruby or Python
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to an already virtually approved location
- Must be willing to travel up to 25% as needed
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
