Valley Proteins, Inc. is looking for a Purchasing Clerk in their Winchester, VA headquarters.

If you have the following, we want to hear from you:
Associates degree in accounting, business administration, or related field preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
MRP/ERP experience (SAP experience a plus)
Purchasing and financial experience in a manufacturing, industrial or environmental services operations
Must be proficient in all MS Office products, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel. The successful candidate will be proficient in exporting ad hoc queries into Excel, creating pivot tables, and performing VLOOKUP functions to better analyze and summarize data
Less than 10% travel
Job Responsibilities
Maintain, update, and verify pricing and inventory data with corporate enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
Ensure teams are trained and capable of following all of Purchasing's policies in procedures
Work with existing partners on price quotations
Monitor purchasing practices and partner performance to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of all agreements
Create pricing and inventory reports using Microsoft Excel
