Basic Purpose The Tester I performs integration, regression and functional testing on systems to ensure compliance with system requirements and Navy Federal business practices and policies. Assists in the analysis of functional and technical requirements and the creation and editing of test cases for new or modified systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit test cases in accordance with system requirements • Create, modify and/or locate the data and conditions needed to execute test cases • Ensure compliance with Navy Federal Credit Union ISD standards and best practices • Modify, coordinate and schedule input to maintain the test environments • Report testing activity including time spent, testing time lost and discrepancies found • Ensure clear, concise and effective communication of material • Full life-cycle project management o Establish and lead project teams o Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications o Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality o Risk, Issue and Change management o Ensure successful project implementation o Scope of responsibility • May assist with addressing employee inquiries or problem resolution• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment• Basic organizational, planning and time management skills• Basic research, analytical, and problem solving skills• Basic skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines• Basic skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and concisely• Basic verbal and written communication skills• Desired - experience working with SQL, automated scripts, Azure, and/or ALM• Desired - Ability to learn new systems and applications as needed

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Navy Federal is now hybrid! Our standard enterprise requirement for a hybrid schedule is to report onsite 4-16 days each month. The number of days reporting onsite will ultimately be determined by the employee's leadership and business unit needs. You will learn more throughout the hiring and onboarding process.

Salary: Navy Federal Credit Union assesses market data to establish salary ranges that enable us to remaincompetitive. You are paid within the salary range, based on your experience, location and market position.

The salary range for this position is: $20.50 to $31.50 Hourly Rate
