About Caleb's Cooking Company
Caleb's Cooking Company enters the fast growing market for children with dietary restrictions created by exploding allergies and chronic illnesses by creating allergen free frozen entrées for children/young adults that are also gluten, grain, sugar, dairy and preservative free.
Approximately 1 out of every 13 children today has a food allergy (thats 2 children in every classroom) and 27% of children in the U.S. live with chronic health conditions, which affect their daily lives and normal activities. My son Caleb is one of these children. Caleb has Crohns disease (a chronic inflammatory bowel disease) and is on a special diet to manage his illness.
Calebs Cooking Company offers a cherished rarity - choice. We intend to roll out a whole line of allergen free products and launched the company with chicken nuggets (plain, BBQ and Buffalo flavors). Mac n Cheese is our next product coming out.
Description
We are looking for a dynamo in the kitchen, someone who can help us make a lot of chicken nuggets and help a lot of kids in the process. Ideally you have experience in the kitchen, but most importantly, you are a hard worker, are dedicated, loyal, fast on your feet and gets a high off of creating a ton of food in a short period of time. This person has lots of energy, is organized and rocks the kitchen. He or she is passionate about the work they do and helping others. You also need to love to laugh and must have a great sense of humor. We work hard, but we also have fun in the process.
We are excited because we are just moving into a much larger kitchen in Ashburn VA. We will be producing 5 days a week, probably starting off every other week and then increasing (as sales increase) to full time. We start early, 6:30am and work until about 4pm or when we finish production each day.
