Local excavating and paving company has an opening for a receptionist/administrative assistant. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, be self motivated and a team-player.
Professional duties to include but not limited to:
Provide support to all departments
Complete and update Miss Utility tickets for all projects
Drafting and issuing correspondence
Completing various monthly and weekly reports, including but not limited to certified payroll reports
Maintain organized filing system (paper and electronic)
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
Utilize company software (internal and web based)
Perform data entry and process reports
Greet guests, Answer telephones, take detailed messages and direct calls to appropriate representatives
Assistance in preparing, editing and organizing both reports and presentations for work using PowerPoint and other Microsoft applications
Light office cleaning and other various duties
Minimum Requirements:
1 year previous administrative office experience
Previous construction experience preferred
Certified payroll experience preferred
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word
Ability to prioritize projects and manage time
Strong follow-through
Good-nature, positive attitude
Knowledge of social media platforms a plus
