are not able to work in an Anthem office at management’s discretion.Role SummarySpecializing

in direct marketing media management and optimization. The successful candidate will be a

results-driven direct marketer with experience in complicated, highly regulated

industries such as insurance or financial services.Responsible

for partnering with Anthem’s Business Segment Leadership to develop and execute

enterprise direct marketing strategies to support business line growth for one or more states. Primary

duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

Lead all aspects of planning, testing,executing and optimizing direct marketing media campaigns that deliver againstbusiness & sales goals; manage a multi-million dollar budget.

Formulate and execute test strategies focusedon improving key metrics. Take initiative to improve direct marketingcapabilities and results.

Leverage data, reporting and analysis resourcesto refine acquisition strategies. Direct analysis to identify and furtheroptimize opportunities.

Anticipate upcoming business needs and makeappropriate plans in advance.

Buildand manage campaign project plans to ensure key milestone dates are hit.

Manage relationships with agency partners.

Workclosely with internal and external partners to implement reporting to trackprogram performance compared to forecast.

DevelopExecutive-Level presentations and report out to Segment Leaders onstatus/progress.

Ensureaccurate materials and assist with proofing Direct Marketing materials. Complywith all DOI regulations.

Requires

a BA/BS degree, 5+ years of marketing experience, or any combination of

education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. MBA

preferred. Experience in direct

marketing strategies (direct mail, DRTV, search, email and online strategies).Preferred

Relevantexperience in the insurance/financial services industry or other relatedhighly-regulated field preferred.

Experiencein sales-driven environment. Successful at developing and deliveringacquisition goals and enhance direct marketing methodologies.

Demonstratedability to effectively manage a campaign budget.
