As a Engineering Excellence/Tech Lead, you will be required to have:
- Ability to handle large data sets, good design, good data modeling expertise
- Customer communications, Team coordination & leadership skills.
- Ability to coordinate data engineering initiatives by working with multiple customer stakeholders
- Create estimation/delivery plans, roadmaps, Identify value.
- Understand technology stack, data quality monitoring process & optimize the same
- Ability to understand technology stack and devise performance improvement, process improvements.
- Ability to initiate and take engineering initiatives to closure.
- Good understanding of data quality practices (monitoring and alerting).
- Ability to work with multiple teams and cross-collaborate on initiatives involving engineering solution implementation.
- Engage directly with Customers on initiative status, progress updates and presentations.
- Ability to own initiatives from initiation to delivery. Ability to work with multiple team leads and ensure status tracking, progress updates and manage initiative tracking. Good presentation building skills.
- 15+ years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, working on data quality implementations
- Experience in Microsoft technology stack is preferred (SSIS, Cosmos, iScope, Power BI)
- Experience working on value driven initiatives for optimizing effort, cost or both
- Strong communication skills: should be able communicate complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to co-ordinate with multiple Customer contacts and internal team to deliver data engineering initiatives
