Finance Manager

We have a new opportunity for a remote Finance Manager, who sits within the PST zone or able to work PST hours. Overview: Performs economic research and studies subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, and financial and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and income statements. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations to management. Develops, maintains, and establishes operational specifications for financial information systems considering such things as information flow, volume, and document format for data processing equipment. May provide analysis on business development and may monitor business performance by unit or division. The Manager Level establishes objectives and assignments, and delegates assignments to subordinates. Objectives are reviewed by senior level management to determine success of operation. Involved in developing, modifying, and executing company policies that affects immediate operation(s) and may also have company-wide effect. Exercises judgement within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluations. Ensures budgets, schedules, and performance requirements of subordinates are met. Error results in critical delay(s) in schedules and / or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities. Interacts regularly with senior leadership. Primary Responsibility:

• Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance, services, general business conditions, etc. Performs analysis to determine present and future financial performance
• Provides Profit and Loss statement fluctuation analysis
  • This includes actual vs. budget, actual vs. prior year, and trended analysis
• Acts as liaison between Finance and Branches in regards to Financial statements
• Ensures timely reporting of branch financial statements, including Profit and Loss statements
• Ensures financial and accounting information is recorded accurately in the Financial Statements and General Ledger and is in accordance with GAAP
• Works with the outside independent auditors in conjunction with corporate annual financial statement audit

• Bachelor s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related field
• Related experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education, with 2-4 years of supervisory or management experience preferred

• Oracle experience is desired
