Experience Required, listed in order of priority.
1) LAUNDRY is the highest job skill priority. You must know how to wash the clothing and get stains out. This means you know what gets washed together, temperature settings, and wash cycle to use.
2) LINENS, you must also know how to make a bed properly. Changing sheets, pillowcases, blankets, and bedspreads or comforters in duvet covers.
3) CLEANING experience is mandatory. You must know what clean is and be capable of doing so thoroughly! This means that you know what cleaning products should be used for counter tops, stainless steel, furniture, tubs, tiles, floors, and windows.
We are searching for the right person to keep our 5,500 square foot home spotless and help my wife with various projects in and around the home. My wife is a double-amputee (has no legs) so there are many things around the house that she is no longer capable of doing without assistance. As our housekeeper, you will essentially be part of the family. The ability to help with cooking, decorating, gardening, shopping, and running errands is a plus. Having a valid driver license and driving experience to be covered on our automobile insurance and drive our vehicles is desired.
I am advertising this position as a part-time job and would like someone that can work 4 hours a day, Monday through Friday. This can become a full-time position for the right person. Fluent English is not a requirement.
