COMPANY OVERVIEW
SOLE is a boutique digital agency providing design, web development, and marketing services to small and mid-sized businesses across the United States.
We’re a small team of four working remotely from Whatcom County, WA, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, and other parts of the globe. We don’t advertise, and our website is famously out of date (www.solegraphics.com). Solid work and good word of mouth have kept us busy for over 20 years.

Reports directly to the Director of Marketing
Pay: DOE (Starting wage is $22/hr, but more experience = higher pay.)
Location: Flexible / Remote

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Assistant is responsible for managing SEO and paid advertising efforts to maintain and improve keyword rankings, strengthen overall website health, increase conversion rates, and deliver positive ROI for clients.
Clients range from small local businesses to large national brands.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Paid Media
Set up and ongoing management of PPC campaigns
Set up and ongoing management of social media ads (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
Analytics & Reporting
Website traffic analysis
Google Analytics 4 setup and management
Google Tag Manager setup and management
Google Search Console setup and management
Looker Studio reporting (formerly Google Data Studio)
Analyze and monitor page and site performance
SEO & Optimization
Ongoing SEO for multiple clients
Keyword research and competitor analysis
Keep up with trending keywords
Ensure sites meet SEO best practices and standards
Make improvements or recommendations to improve rankings
Link-building strategies
Content analysis and SEO recommendations
Site audits
Local SEO
Manage Google Business Profile (GMB) listings
Manage Moz Local listings
Other
Maintain Google Ads certification status
Client correspondence and collaboration

QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient in Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Proficient in Google Ads
Experience with Looker Studio, Moz, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
Experience setting up Google Tag Manager and conversions from scratch
Strong understanding of SEO best practices
Exposure to HTML, JavaScript, and browser dev tools
Strong communication and writing skills
