Millwork Machine Operator (Day Shift)Â
ROLE:ÂThe primary responsibility of a Millwork Machine Operator is to safely and accurately produce wood components and products by operating and maintaining machinery.Â
HOURS:ÂDay Shift (7am-3:45pm)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain quality and safety standards.
Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Go deep in problem-solving, always seek to learn more about your space to develop expertise.
Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces.
CORE SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Natural curiosity and desire to gain knowledge of door construction and tolerances.
Self-motivated problem solver who is appreciates a fast-paced environment.
Knows how to manage work flow effectively to meet manufacturing order due dates.
Maintains a clean and organized area and provides quality control for finished products.
Math skills dealing with 1/1000 of an inch measurements.
Commitment to being a reliable and consistent team member.
