The Lighthouse Mission is looking for a shelter supervisor to work the nightshift at the men's shelter, a ministry of the Lighthouse Mission. This is a full-time position with benefits. Shelter supervisors help maintain a safe, secure, clean and sober environment for men and women utilizing the shelter. Nightshift shelter supervisors respond to emergencies, provide light security to the LMM campus, do some data entry and provide emotional and spiritual support to guests seeking shelter.
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Google Calendar preferred. Ideal applicants will have a desire to work with low-income populations, men and women experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, chemical dependency and/or unemployment.
As an outreach of Lighthouse Mission Ministries, successful applicants will show a desire to end spiritual, economic, physical and social poverties with an aim toward restored identities and recovered vocations for the purpose of healthy relationship with God, each other and the world.
Hours: 10pm-8am Sunday Thursday; 40 hours a week with benefits
