Hiring Office manager for construction company (Lynden)

We are looking for a new office manager for our construction company in Lynden. We are a busy company that services over 1000 clients per year and need one person to take over the job of full time office manager. Hours are from 9 AM until around 5:30. This job is only suitable for someone who already has office, Admin and/or sales experience. It will require someone who can stay motivated while working alone, work well under pressure and make sales (not cold calls). Duties include:

-Answering phones, returning messages

-scheduling a complex work week for several crews

-working with our estimators to sell jobs

-using quickbooks to create and edit estimates, invoices etc

-collecting deposits and payments

-maintaining relations with many important customers and contractors

-inventory and assisting with material orders

-payroll for other employees

This position will require significant training. Pay will be depending on experience. We are willing to pay the right candidate well and provide an excellent, long term position. You MUST have some computer skills and be a fast learner with new programs, be comfortable on the phone even as you learn a new industry, be confident and able to multitask in a busy environment. This job only available for full time, long term employment.
