P/T Afternoon Receptionist Office (Downtown Bellingham)

Provide administrative support to the lead receptionist and Executive Suites tenants. The qualified individual will present themselves in a professional manner to greet tenants and their clients, answer phone and transfer calls. A variety of clerical duties will be included in this job where accuracy and professionalism is expected.

Working hours are 1 pm to 5 pm, Monday - Friday.

Job tasks include:

Answer and transfer calls through the switchboard system.

Receive payments and write out receipts, place in appropriate location.

Process incoming mail and packages and collect and send outgoing mail.

Clerical work for the Executive Suites tenants which includes typing, copying, collating.

Front desk reception.

Carries out multiple projects simultaneously to an accurate completion.

Performing day-to-day clerical tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.

Maintain records, reports and/or files

Knowledge

Clerical Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.

English Language Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Phone Manners and Receptionknowledge of the phone reception and switchboard processes.

Computers and Electronics Knowledge of office electronic equipment, and certain computer software, including applications for presentation and light desktop publishing.
