Software Development Intern

Description of duties: You’ll use your talents in web design, C# and the Microsoft stack to help maintain our websites and create new content that will be used by over 250,000 constituents from the optics and photonics disciplines.
Who you are: You are a highly motivated, self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’re willing to learn, aren’t afraid of asking questions, pick things up quickly and you manage your time well.
Education & Experience/Accomplishment Requirements: Current college students only please. CS, Math/CS and MIS students preferred. 3 years completed towards your major with at least 1 year of experience in software development preferred. Knowledge in some of the following areas is required: ASP.NET, MVC, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL and Microsoft Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code. Must understand the Software Development Lifecycle and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
