Our client, a leading Pharmaceutical Company, is hiring a Senior Manager, Site Material Management on a long-term contract basis.Location: Bothell, WA.Rate type: W2 only Job Description: Senior Manager, Site Material Management 5+ years experience in manufacturing and supply chain areas.Proven experience in supply chain, project management and production planning in a medium to high volume environment, knowledge of scheduling platforms.PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:The Sr Manager, Site Materials Management ensures supply and manufacturing continuity across all aspects of CAR T operations at the Bothell, WA cell therapy manufacturing facility. This position plays a strategic role in the CAR T site supply chain operations managing aspects of inventory control and logistics. As a member of the CAR T Supply Chain Operations leadership team, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet objectives and goals.Education: Bachelors degree in supply chain, engineering, life sciences, information systems, business management or related fields; advanced degree preferred.Experience10+ years relevant work experience required, preferably in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.5+ years experience in manufacturing and supply chain areas.An equivalent combination of education, experience and training may substitute.Proven experience in supply chain, project management and production planning in a medium to high volume environment, knowledge of scheduling platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with Strategic Sourcing partners to identify and mitigate material supply risk while ensuring appropriate site inventory levelsResponsible for regular supplier and contractual performance evaluations and periodic business review meetings with stakeholders and suppliersCollaborate with Global Procurement and Sourcing Organization to ensure supply continuity and develop alternate sources of materialsManage site inventory availability and accuracy in conjunction with Global Supply Chain OrganizationManage cleaning supplies and PPE procurement to use process to ensure business continuity and adequate supply plansCollaborate with Global Supply Chain and Site Quality groups to escalate inventory levelsDevelop long term capacity models for CRT, refrigerated, and frozen along with external third party storage capabilitiesDevelop, manage and communication site materials management KPIs and MetricsActs as materials management and supply chain subject matter expert for site activities relating to new or improvements to supply processes and applicationsManage site logistics activities related to material transfers between sites and inventory control aspects of manufactured goodsBuild and maintain a high achieving organization to support clinical and commercial CAR T manufacturing activitiesEngage with Systems & Technology partners for COI/COC and ERP responsibilitiesDevelop dashboard to monitor performance against metrics and KPIsBuild a collaborative environment that fosters decisive decision making and accountabilityManage contractual framework through collaboration with various internal departments (Legal, Quality, Manufacturing) to negotiate contracts, manage termination/renewal and modifications to contract scope.Lead as a change agent in a fast-paced environment to promote flexibility, creativity, and accountability to ensure project prioritization and adequate resource allocationLead multi-functional and multi-location teams through project identification and implementationCreate an environment of teamwork, open communication, and a sense of urgency.Drive collaboration across the company and external partners.Build trust and productive relationships with peers and stakeholdersDeliver business results through timely and quality decision makingFosters a culture of high ethics and compliancePromote a mindset of continuous improvement, problem-solving and preventionSincerely yours, Nitin Patel Senior Technical Recruiter TSR Consulting Services, Inc. 379 Thornall Street, 6th Floor, Edison, NJ 08837 Office: www.tsrconsulting.com Finding the Right People at the Right Time.
