The Opportunity: As a Senior Application Developer on the Corporate Services Technologies team, you will work within an application development team to design software solutions. You will report to a Team Leader and be an important part of development of scalable solutions for Fisher's business units. You will learn new technologies and help improve existing tools and standards as we move to our new technology platform. The Day-to-Day:- Build front-end UI components to provide capabilities to internal operational users
- Build back-end services and APIs to support internal applications and external system integrations
- Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and advocate for code quality improvement
- Help with application support throughout all environments including production
- Perform technical design, and work with team leads and architects to propose solutions
- Help improve development team processes including planning, estimating, and demos
- Work with partners to understand their technology needs and propose solutions to help our portfolio operations scale
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or other science field
- 5+ years of experience building services with .NET, preferably including .NET Core
- Experience with full-stack development including modern JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular or React
- 1+ years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum methodology
- Understanding of microservice architectures
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC
- Expert knowledge of SQL and understanding of database principles
- Experience with modern messaging systems, cloud services
- The ability to present to team members
