Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA), ETC (Electrical Technical Center) Electrical Design organization has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Wiring Technical Designer (level 2) in Everett, WA , Renton, WA and Tukwila, WA to help us define the future of commercial aerospace with innovative ideas that advance or culture of safety and quality that our customers, the flying public, expect.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This is a union represented position.Position Responsibilities:Maintains releases and assists in developing of Wire Harness assemblies and details for our diverse portfolio of advanced Commercial Aircraft. This includes electrical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data by applying Company, industry and governmental standards.

Using design tools, prepares documentation and incorporates basic design changes.

Creates, develops and maintains elementary systems designs.

Supports engineering system design and functionality validation activities.

Supports the development and maintenance of moderately-complex product installation designs and part designs.

Supports coordination with internal partners and external suppliers.

Works under general supervision of a lead engineer and an experienced mentor to enhance both your technical learning and career growth.

Work Authorization:The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Experience with wire harness, electrical and/or mechanical design.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Experience using wire design tools such as WIRS, MAPPER, CADDS and/or Capital Logic.

Typical Education / Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelors in Engineering Technology (Technologist)) or (e.g. Associate or Technicians degree) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 3 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift Work Statement:This position is for 1st shift.Additional Information:Formal training is available as part of the job.
