Damage ControlmanLocation: Naval Station Everett, Everett, WATime Frame 6 MonthsSalary: $28-$30Shipyard or Ship Repair experience PreferredAbout Us:Join our team at Naval Station Everett, where your skills as a Damage Controlman will be put to the test and celebrated. Work on Navy boats, ensuring the safety and preparedness of our crews with cutting-edge systems and training.Key Responsibilities:

Operate and Maintain: Oversee the operation, repair, and maintenance of firefighting systems, damage control equipment, and CBR defense equipment.

Train and Lead: Instruct shipboard personnel in the operation, maintenance, and repair of damage control systems, life-saving devices, and various firefighting techniques. Act as the ship's Fire Marshal and a leader in firefighting efforts.

Perform Emergency Repairs: Execute emergency repairs on decks, hulls, and structures using pipe patching, plugging, and shoring. Address emergencies involving pipe fittings and fixtures.

Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Defense: Educate and prepare the ship’s crew in CBR defense methods to ensure readiness in any situation.
