Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Fire Operations Chief Manager to join the team in Everett, WA .This position will oversee the operations of the site fire department's fire prevention and emergency response activities, including medical, hazardous material responses, aircraft standby operations, and medical emergencies. The selected candidate will be leading the day-to-day operations of the fire team and act as incident commander on major emergencies.Position Responsibilities:

Coordinate, prioritize, and scheduled daily activities for all response crews at their station to ensure alignment with annual site plan

Schedule personnel for overtime requirement as required, and maintain employee overtime records in the department-approved scheduling database

Ensure records are accurate and properly completed

Ensure emergency incident reports are completed on the shift the emergency occurs and meet the quality standard required

Maintain fire department records for fire equipment and inspections

Monitor fire equipment and apparatus inspection schedules to ensure compliance with applicable standards

Oversee firefighter training to meet objectives of the training program established by the Enterprise and Site Training Officer(s)

Act as Safety Supervisor for fire department operations

Ensure National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1500 Monthly Safety inspections as well as NFPA personal protective equipment (PPE) inspections are completed and documented

Assign available staffing to ensure minimum staffing level is met and response capabilities are not impacted

Recommend adjustments to fire department policy or procedures, as necessary, to establish a high level of employee performance and morale

Ensure fire prevention training and informational presentations are available when requested

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options .This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Current National Registry or U.S. State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification or the ability to obtain reciprocity, within 6 months of your start date

Completed FEMA Incident courses – IS-100m IS-200, IS-700 or have the ability to complete courses within 6 months

State, IFSAC or Proboard Firefighter 1 certification

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

Fire Officer 1 certification

Fire Officer 2 certification

Fire Officer 3 certification

Fire Inspector 1 certification

Fire Inspector 2 certification

Hazardous Materials Technician Certification
