Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a Flight Engineering First Line Manager to lead Propulsion Systems Engineering teams supporting either the sustaining 747/767/777/787 wide-body airplane programs or the 777X airplane program. The positions will be responsible for either the 777X Fuels Cert, Design, FQIS, & FRS team, 747/767/777/777X/787 Engine Build Up (EBU)/Strut Build Up (SBU) team, or 777X Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) team. These positions are located in Everett, Washington.Position Responsibilities:Manages employees performing engineering and technical and integration activities for 777X

Propulsion Systems Engineering (Safety & Certification, Modeling & System Performance,

Equipment Management, Design & Build, Flight Test Integration

Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an engineering or science related discipline.

Ability to travel 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with customers in challenging issues.

Strong communication skills.

Experience as a technical interface/leader with suppliers.

Experience in leadership roles.

Experience supporting the development of components and systems including design, analysis, test, validation, certification, and production.
