Volt’s client in Everett, WA has an immediate opening for a Network Administrator direct hire opportunity!The Network Administrator is responsible for assisting the IT Manager with overseeing the organization’s computer systems or database networks to ensure proper maintenance and security.Duties include working with other IT staff and company employees to identify network or computer system needs, overseeing the installation of new hardware or software and using employee feedback to isolate issues.Responsibilities

Maintaining computer networks and systems including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware
Installing/configuring network equipment to update/fix hardware/software issues
Updating virus protection software to keep data and communications protected
Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance.
Communicating networking issues to other employees and management,
Fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users

Required Experience:

Must have 3+ years of Network Administrating previous company experience
Experience with Cisco Switches and firewalls
Windows OS, Active Directory and VMware experience
Veeam Backups
Cisco certified is a plus

Role Type:

This role may be required to work after-hours and/or on weekends and will perform other duties as assigned.
