Find your future with us.777X, 777 and 787 Engineering projects in Everett, WA is seeking an energetic and results oriented Senior Manager for the 777 or 787 Common Core Systems Engineering team.The ideal candidate will be a reliable and competent professional who possesses the ability to work well across diverse groups and effectively collaborate across organizational boundaries. The candidate will be a problem solver and a leader who can effectively implement solutions in a fast paced development environment. The candidate will lead and support a multi-site team in sustaining and updating the 787 Common Core Systems. 777-9 development may also be included. Team technical and operational development will be an urgent part of the initial assignment.This position will primarily be onsite in Everett, WA. Occasional travel to supplier sites will be required (2-4 times per year). .Position Responsibilities:

Manages employees and first-level managers performing management activities across multiple (2 or more) programs.

Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

Provides education and coaching for team development.

Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, regulators, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.

Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an engineering or science related field

5+ years of experience in the development, integration, and verification of aircraft avionics systems

5+ years of experience overseeing regulatory compliance and interacting with customers and regulatory agencies

3+ years of experience as a manager leading engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Demonstrated problem solving and technical experience

5-10 years engineering experience in aerospace systems development

5 years management experience

Systems Engineering experience

Demonstrated skill set in Safety Analysis, Model Based Systems Engineering, Systems Engineering, Engineering management
