Position overview:

Astound Broadband Powered by Wave is currently searching for a Marketing Manager based remotely anywhere in the states of California, Washington and Oregon. This position is responsible for marketing planning, brand maintenance, creative development of advertising, digital and social strategy and execution, event planning and management, customer, prospect and employee communications for residential and SMB business units. Manages internal and external relationships, including digital, creative and production vendors.

The primary position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

:

  • Ecommerce Management - manage campaigns to sales objectives, able to manage all underlying metrics to drive topline sales including overall engagement through to sales conversion
  • Demonstrated success in creating, tracking and analyzing digital campaigns, developing creative assets, ad hoc design, mobile creative, and messaging utilizing outside agencies and graphic designers
  • Customer and Employee Communications - Supports the development of communications via, email, mail, web content, collateral, as needed. Projects may include: new product launches, upgrades and migrations; programming updates, channel line-ups, customer communication, notifications
  • Digital Targeting - segments, needs and product based, geographic, behavioral, other
  • Budget management - Monitors/reconciles all project cost forecasts, estimates and actuals on a monthly basis
  • Digital/Social Media Expertise – Responsible for directing agency partners in SEO, SEM, Social and Programmatic content including social engagement, digital events, etc.
  • OTT/CTV – direct agencies in OTT/CTV and streaming radio placement
  • Retention – Ability to analyze customer behavior, create and test retention initiatives, author clear customer communications
  • Provide reporting on campaign & program performance as well as insights and recommendations
  • Other duties as assigned

Our ideal candidate will possess

:

  • 5+ years in the Ecommerce/Digital field – agency or corporate marketing
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work across teams
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with subscription-based services, pricing, customer-loyalty and retention is a bonus if digital experience is secondary
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and comfortable with formatting, formulas, customizing reports, etc.
  • Some traditional media experience a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office and PowerPoint, Adobe; InDesign a plus
  • Working knowledge of HTML, a plus
  • Fluent in using analytics to identify issues and opportunities, able to use Tableau, GA and other data platforms
  • Firm understanding of all key digital KPIs
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data and present clear recommendations based on result
  • Self-motivated, curious, creative, enthusiastic team member
  • Able to thrive in a remote and hybrid work situation
  • Ability to travel, as some travel may be necessary – less than 10%

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
