If you are seeking an exciting opportunity as a Aerospace Buyer for a company in Everett, that focuses on leading edge technology this position may be for you!

The selected candidate will interface between internal engineering teams and current or future suppliers to drive adherence to quality, cost, and delivery targets. The preferred candidate will have a technical background in Engineering and Manufacturing. The selected candidate will partner with engineering teams to identify and implement direct material productivity ideas to minimize product cost.Liaise between internal and external teams to confirm alignment of the method of manufacture with the design intent. Influence commodity strategies and sourcing decisions with technical knowledge. Support the fulfillment activities, including sourcing new suppliers, managing RFI/RFQ process, negotiating contracts and rates, raising POs, managing supplier delivery, and communicating any challenges or slippages. Maintain contract files and update activity in SAP, Monday.com, and other workflow management tools. Other duties as assigned.Aerospace Buyer candidates should possess the following qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess Bachelor's degree is preferred; in place of a degree will consider significant relevant experience and have 5+ years of purchasing experience, including 2+ years of Aerospace purchasing experience specifically.Supplier-facing experience, including sourcing, procurement, and delivery management. Ability to read and interpret drawings to lead technical discussions between the company and suppliers.Experience working with internal and external engineering and quality teams. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Aerospace experience preferred.
