Description Robert Half, in collaboration with a leading logistics firm, is looking for a Contract AP/AR Clerk in Fife, WA. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Your primary responsibilities will include processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, reconciling invoices, and assisting with end-of-month close processes.Key Responsibilities:
Input invoices, process payments, and manage vendor files.
Handle customer inquiries related to accounts receivable, research and resolve discrepancies.
Process customer invoices and receipts in a timely manner.
Assist with monthly account reconciliations and general ledger transactions.
Maintain updated records of accounts.
Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
Prepare and send monthly statements to customers.
Assist with preparing for the monthly and annual audits as necessary.
Requirements
A High School diploma or equivalent, though an Associate's degree in Finance or a related field is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable or in a related field.
Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, with experience in accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
A high level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
