Location: Kent, WA Description: Our client is currently seeking a Specialist - HRIS Sr

This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • Responsible for supporting Workday across all modules (e.g., Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Absence Management, Performance and Development, Succession Planning, Recruiting, and Advanced Compensation), including design and testing of enhancements and ongoing system maintenance. Provide day-to-day support to users with systems-related inquiries and requests for support (e.g., issues, systems/usability, Workday functionality, and processes). Design, configure, test and implement Workday integrations, security or business processes and troubleshoot and correct issues when they arise. Create and maintain custom reports to meet business requirements. Collaborates with HR Team to evaluate system needs and design new or modify the system to meet changing business requirements. Apply technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex Workday issues Research processes and requirements to ensure the system is built in line with business needs and in compliance with audit requirements. Serve as lead on projects and enhancement activities as needed. Research and respond to information inquiries and resolve /redirect/ escalate support requests as appropriate. Work closely with other system subject matter experts to ensure Workday HCM system data integrity, configurations, troubleshooting, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities Manage special projects related to the testing and deployment of new functionality and system enhancements Work closely with key business partners to understand business processes, goals, and system enhancement opportunities Establish appropriate auditing and monitoring of HR data to ensure system accuracy. Configure Workday business processes/workflows Document and evaluate business requirements and business processes while recommending process improvements Coordinate activity for new releases including education and communication Collaborate with HR COEs to understand and translate business requirements into formal configuration requirements documentation. Work with appropriate HR COE to identify and correct system problems Research and address data integrity issues and/or errors. Ensure a high level of data integrity is maintained and transactions are accurate. Proactively stay up to date on trends and developments within HR systems and technology, proactively providing ideas and information regarding best practices and trends. Work to enhance the capability of self and team. Recommend technical solution taking into account priorities and trade-offs, and drive alignment among stakeholders Support projects to streamline processes, eliminate non-value added activities and improve efficiency and ensure timely completion, high quality implementations, achievement of budget targets and outstanding customer service Coordinate with functional leaders to test and prepare for system updates Produce and present ad hoc, monthly and quarterly reports to support leadership reporting needs within the system Collaborate with the Workday admin team to ensure governance and integrity of HR data.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Qualifications: 5+ year experience in Workday, including 3+ years configuring Workday (i.e., integrations, security, business processes) Experience managing Workday projects/configurations Experience building and maintaining calculated fields in Workday Advanced Workday Report Writing experience Experience working in ticket/case management system (e.g., JIRA) Attention to detail with strong technical skills Ability to multi-task and overcome obstacles with innovation to meet critical deadlines A continuous improvement mindset and quality and process orientated A quick learner with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with a high level of confidence Highly independent; can own & drive substantial, complex tracks of work Strong collaborator; can engage with partners and stakeholders across the company Comfortable operating in fast-changing environments and creating clarity out of ambiguity Strong customer orientation and communication skills, with ability to communicate clearly with both technical and functional audiences Strong communications skills and client service both verbal and written Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, Human Resources or related business area is preferred
