Find your future with us.Phantom Works, Boeing Defense, Space & Security’s (BDS) advanced research, development and prototyping division is looking for a Financial Analyst (Mid-level and Senior) to join our team in Kent, WA or El Segundo, CA.Propelled by a team with an innovative spirit that transcends cultures, Phantom Works pushes beyond perceived limits and embraces taking risks to deliver strategically exciting, innovative, balanced and production-ready capabilities to the Warfighter. We believe the phrase “it can’t be done” is a myth, and our team eagerly tackles the toughest challenges, bringing ground breaking technologies to life – from seabed to outer space.This role is to support financial controls for an earned-value management controlled portfolio of projects and programs. For this position you must have earned value management (EVM), and estimate at complete (EAC) experience.Position Responsibilities:

Initiates and leads analysis of resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs

Builds and develops performance reports. Initiates assignments and leads integration of variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to senior management

Makes recommendations to management on financial performance projections and drives improvements using financial and business knowledge and experience

Develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains, a coordinated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements

Leads development of cases using appropriate indices

Provides subject matter expertise to troubleshoot process and tool issues, resolve root cause and recommend solutions

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Top Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher

3+ years of experience in a finance related position including but not limited to: Financial Operations, Material Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts

EVM or similar experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

2+ years experience with EVM

2+ years experience with EAC

Master’s degree

DelTek Cobra experience
