Prosser based fabrication shop with 22 years history in the area is in the screening process for Fabricator/Welder Positions.

Position:

Full Time - 40 to 50 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Shop Forman to accomplish various job assignments.

Be reliable, dependable and able to work overtime when required.

Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to communicate effectively and take instructions from others.

Must have profound pride in craftsmanship and accuracy of work.

Abide by all policies and procedures, including those related to safety and environmental issues.

Job Requirements:

Must have a MIG Welding experience, and be capable of welding a

variety of materials including Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum.

Applicants must be able to weld in all positions.

Must have the ability to read and interpret engineered drawings.

Experience in layout and fit up of complex fabrications is a must.

Must have ability to use and maintain hand power tools such as hand grinders, sanders and drills.

Knowledge of proper operations and safety procedures of welding equipment and measuring tools.

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,

fractions, and decimals and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to

practical situations.

Positions will occasionally be required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Must have a valid drivers license.
