Job Description:- Expert-level testing support related to performance and load testing in an AWS environment using Apache JMeter. Below is a brief overview of the position objectives.
- Support the software development process by planning, designing and executing performance and load testing of our Reporting System.
- Develop a comprehensive suite of automated testing scripts in JMeter (JavaScript) used to simulate concurrent use of the system by licensees and ensure that performance, availability and scalability of the hosting environment, to include the database, is not degraded or disrupted during peak usage based on required thresholds.
- Advanced knowledge of the AWS domain to properly plan, develop and execute automated testing in these areas.
- Ability to adapt to performance requirement changes.
- Technical competence in reviewing network log files, troubleshooting and determining root cause if/when the AWS hosting environment is not performing as expected.
- Responsible for providing cloud architecture recommendations to ensure the resilient and fault-tolerant configuration of the hosting environment, including the database, based on testing results.
