Hama Hama Seafood Store is looking for a reliable, fun, enthusiastic person to become team member in our Lilliwaup-based retail store.
Come work in the midst of something larger than yourself: the water on one side, the trees and mountains on the other, and the history of our familys farming traditions. Family owned and operated for five generations, the Hama Hama Company is a shellfish and timber farm located on the eastern slopes of the Olympic Peninsula. Our reputation for quality is built on hard work and clean water. In addition to oysters, clams, and trees, we produce open space, wildlife habitat, and educational opportunities. Our mission is pretty simple: use low impact farming methods to grow world-class oysters and trees, have fun, and leave something good for the next guy.
No previous experience required, just looking for someone who likes people, cleaning, is reliable and willing to learn new things.
Responsibilities include:
-customer service, sales, and answering guest questions
-stocking/receiving retail product
-maintaining a clean kitchen/store front
-light food production (smoking fish, crab cakes, dips, cookies, etc.)
Requirements include:
-Ability to stand for 4 hours at a time, bending/stooping, lifting or moving up to 40 lb
-Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
-Ability to following verbal and written directions
-Responsible cash handling a must
Compensation
-Full-time position (20-40 hours per week). Hours may include some weekends and holidays.
-Hourly, commensurate with experience
