Stable manufacturing company seeks an experienced PLC Programmer/Controls Engineer with strong PLC programming skills to join their team in the Olympia area.
Education - BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred, but not required.
Experience - 4 + years of on-the-job experience with Allen Bradley Control Logix. Strong working knowledge of motion controllers, PLC's, Servo systems and HMI's. Machine vision experience and AutoCAD proficiency a plus.
Duties - programming of motion controls, ladder logic and HMI's.
Engineer control systems used in high performance machines.
Direct and execute the planning and coordination of new equipment installations.
Administer maintenance and modifications of existing PLC programs.
Control project cost, schedule and delivery.
Train personnel in maintenance and operation of equipment.
This position is based in the Olympia area with travel to other locations in NW Washington.
