Job Summary

The Engineering Technician II position is a warehouse logistics support to the Government for POWTEC Solutions, LLC located in Keyport, WA.

This Services Contract Act (SCA) position has a Department of Labor designated prevailing wage for each County the work is performed.

The position is Full Time, non-exempt, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Possible overtime.

Hourly compensation: $22.53

This is a Services Contract Act (SCA) position and has a Department of Labor (DOL) designated prevailing wage for each County the work is performed. This wage is mandated and compensated based upon the DOL.

The hourly prevailing wage of $22.53. In addition, a $4.18 Health & Welfare Benefit is paid per hour.

The health & welfare benefit is provided as assistance to afford health insurance coverage with our organization or elsewhere and entirely up to your discretion on how you spend your wages.

This is position supports the Government and requires successfully passing both a Background Check and Drug Screening to qualify.

Must be US Citizen.

Essential Duties and Tasks

Experience working within a Government Setting

Data entry skills required

Researching material/ parts for purchasing

Experience using SWMS (Safe Work Method Statement) preferred, but not required)

Creating Bills of Material in SWMS

Entering parts information in SWMS

Entering and updating HAZMAT info in SWMS

Linking documents to shop processes in SWMS

Pulling material from storage/warehouse

Performing inventory checks

Checking status of material orders

Checking status of production jobs

Checking status of shipments

Archiving data packages

Perform scheduling function in SWMS

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Ability to interface with Government/Military Personnel

Understanding and possessing the ability to enter data accurately

Ability to follow prescribed workflow processes

Excellent organization and decision-making skills

Qualifications

Reliable transportation is required for attendance in this role

High School Graduate and some college and/or commensurate experience
