Over age 55 looking for a job?
AARP Foundation is looking to place three people over the age of 55 and who are income qualified for paid internships in Port Angeles.
AARP will place you with one of our non profit partners, you won't be working for AARP but we will pay you through the Senior Community Service Employment Program or SCSEP, a Title V Worker re-training program.
Please have good office skills, basic computer skills, be able to work with the public in a friendly and supportive way and be pleasant and easy to work with.
We also have potential openings in Port Townsend that will be coming up. One of which will be working in the office of a small non profit school.
The purpose of these paid internships is to get updated skills and job references so that you can search for a real job. The paid internships are short term so that you can re-enter the job market with fresh skills and fresh references, while earning an income.
